Mr. Jean-Marc Leroy

On 2009/01/01 Mr. Jean Marc Leroy was appointed as CEO of Storengy, a new company of GDF SUEZ, dedicated to underground storage worldwide. Since 2005, Mr. Jean-Marc Leroy has been in charge of storage infrastructures and LNG terminals of GDF SUEZ.

From 1997 to 2004, Mr. Jean Marc Leroy has been active at Gaz de France head office in several key positions: Manager of the President’s Office, secretary of the Board, Deputy Vice president of the Strategy Division, Vice President in charge of Exterior Relations and Internal Communication.

Mr. Jean Marc Leroy started his career in Electricité de France (EDF). In 1994, Mr. Jean Marc Leroy moved to Gaz de France as Deputy Vice President of Gaz de France Transmission Division.

Since 2008, Mr. Jean-Marc Leroy is also President of GSE – Gas Storage Europe -, representing gas storage operators in Europe towards the European Institutions (European Commission, European Parliament, Council of the European Union) as well as the European bodies of regulators (ERGEG, CEER) and other stakeholders, and Vice President of GIE – Gas Infrastructures Europe.

Since 2011, Mr. Jean Marc Leroy is also Chairman of the University’s supervisory board of ENSEEIHT (a French engineering school of Toulouse’s University specialized in Energy, Electrical Engineering, Hydraulics and IT).
