Mr. John Kent

 Mr. John Kent, a Cambridge Mathematics graduate, joined British Gas in 1980.  Mr. Kent became head of finance in two Regions and then Chief Accountant Planning for the privatised British Gas plc.  In 1995 Mr. Kent was appointed CFO of the $4bn turnover Business Gas division of Centrica and then led business development for British Gas Trading during gas and electricity market deregulation.  After 20 years in the energy sector John joined Vodafone and worked in its UK, Japanese and Irish businesses.

In 2011 Mr. Kent advised British Gas on value management in the core business.
